In addition to the remarkable management of Automechanika Istanbul and Motobike Istanbul trade fair organizations in Turkey, Messe Frankfurt Istanbul also undertakes marketing and sales operations in order to enhance Turkish participation in Messe Frankfurt events worldwide, by the collaboration of experienced team members in project management, finance, marketing and sales departments in its specially-designed office building located in the Asian side of Istanbul to reflect the corporate identity of Messe Frankfurt.

Messe Frankfurt Istanbul Managing Director Tayfun Yardim: “For 20 years, we have been proudly operating on behalf of Messe Frankfurt in Turkey. Turkey holds a great deal of manufacturing potential in business sectors such as automotive, textile, construction, food and many others. Turkish companies are in need of expanding their businesses into new markets around the world. As a matter of fact, many Turkish companies were already amongst the participants of Messe Frankfurt trade fairs before the foundation of our office in Istanbul. Once we began our operations, we have obtained the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Messe Frankfurt and Turkish exhibitors by our key role as a bridge of communication.

Since the year 2001, we have been organizing The World’s 3rd Largest Automotive Industry Trade Fair, Automechanika Istanbul as well as Motobike Istanbul, Turkey’s one and only trade fair on Motorcycle, Bicycle and Accessories which we have been organizing since 2015. Messe Frankfurt Istanbul provides continuous support for small and medium-sized enterprises which are the most important building blocks of the Turkish industry to advance their growth and reflect their true potentials. Them becoming major players in international scale and observing their growth over the years make us proud.”

Alongside such trade activities, Messe Frankfurt Istanbul is also a strong supporter of social responsibility projects for many years. In addition to ongoing sponsorship agreements for the growth of Turkish sailing and motorsports, Messe Frankfurt Istanbul   provides financial and operational support for educational and environmental sustainability projects.

Messe Frankfurt Istanbul Managing Director Isin Saglam:  “With a history of 780 years, Messe Frankfurt is the world’s oldest event organizer and therefore, the key to its existance is sustainability which is also a major company policy by all means. Social, economical and ecological aspects of sustainability are the core elements of our work which reflect on our events worldwide. We continuously look after for environmental factors whilst organizing our trade shows in Istanbul. This is also a company policy not only for our internal activities, but for the arrangements of our business trips as well.

This year, we are celebrating our 20th anniversary as the Istanbul office of a long-established corporation such as Messe Frankfurt. Over the coming years, in order to proceed with our activities to enhance our company, exhibitors and our country, we place our sustainability policies at the center of our motivation towards the future.”

Despite the ongoing worldwide pandemic on their 20th anniversary, Messe Frankfurt Istanbul is as dedicated to maintain and increase Turkish participation in upcoming international trade events as they used to be. In addition to the physical, digital and hybrid trade fairs in 2020, Messe Frankfurt is looking forward to the growth of Turkish participation in 2021 events which are to be held physically and digitally at the same time.
